Launching a Coverage Test

To launch a test run for the coverage testset, click on the button in the top right corner of the editor:

This opens the Grammar Coverage view.

Pressing the dropdown menu on the right of the button opens a menu offering many possibilities for the test run:

• All Contexts launches a test run with all contexts (default)
• Filtered Contexts launches a test run with only the filtered contexts (see Filtering Sentences);
• Context name launches a test run only with the context named name.

A test run for a subset of the whole testset can also be launched. Simply select a subset of the testset and select the Test Entry item in the contextual menu.

Problems with the grammar detected during the test run are reported directly in the coverage editor:

• The icon indicates that an ING sentence has not been parsed by the grammar or that an OOG sentence was parsed by the grammar.
• The icon indicates that the expected interpretation and the actual interpretation are different. The Actual interpretation shows a semantic interpretation for all ING sentences.

Since the actual interpretation can be the correct one, the reference interpretation can be automatically set to it by using the contextual menu's Accept interpretation entry in the coverage testset editor. This is especially useful for the first test run when all the reference interpretations may have been left blank.
